will you photoshop me?

the simple answer: NO.

WHY? because I feel my job, as an empowerment boudoir photographer is to help you LOVE THE BODY YOU HAVE RIGHT NOW! the long answer: I truly believe that photoshopping client's societal perceived "flaws" defeats the entire purpose of trying to capture them in ways where they see themselves in a fresh, and different perspective. removing/photoshopping out our natural creases, dimples, rolls and stretch marks - takes away the essence and embodiment of what makes us as women, WOMEN. we are powerful. we are resilient. we are strong! and our bodies go through SO MUCH! why, when we want to CELEBRATE them, would we change them? I don't. and I won't.

What we will do: find outfits and wardrobe choices that help you feel comfortable! though I do tell most all of my clients, "choose at least ONE outfit choice you normally wouldn't go for! I promise you will be pleasantly surprised with the outcome!" we will talk extensively about your nudity comfortability, what types of posing you like, and your overall session vibe you'd like to create. I will creatively and expertly pose you, from head to toe, in ways that accentuate what features you'd like to stand out, while simultaneously concealing areas you're not as comfortable with. always demonstrating them for you first, and coaching you through the process of achieving it on your own! and then using the perfect angles and lighting to further enhance our desired outcome! as we move through the posing process, I will also show you my captures, from the back of my camera and I KNOW you'll instantly feel like a BADDIE! every single client is always taken aback at how those first images turn out, and I can instantly witness the anxieties and nerves drain from their face and body!! and lastly, there are a FEW things I will remove: pimples, blemishes, scratches or other skin abrasions, bruises and some scars, depending on their nature. If they're temporary, they can easily be edited out.

The goal here at CMP for my clients, is to completely morph the way they see themselves, in a positive and vulnerable way. and to do so, without them feeling like the person in the photos, isn't them. (though I do occasionally still have people WOWed so much, that they're sure its not them in their photos😜).

But it will be. the same person my clients see in their photos, will be who stares back at them in their mirror in their closet, bedroom or bathroom. just with a fresh and more kind mindset about who's actually staring back at them!
